Spot Cleaning

Keep it simple. Oriental Rugs damage very easily. If you do spill something on your Oriental Rug there is only one thing we recommend:

Blot up the stain immediately with a clean white terry cloth towel. 

Then blot again and again with a small amount club soda. Don’t use any other type of cleaning agent since it might not get the stain out, it may cause the dye to bleed, and may set the stain. Blot in the club soda and blot out the stain. Repeat.

Also, don't forget to vacuum often to get the loose dirt out of the rug.  Do not vacuum the fringe as it will cause fray damage.
