| The Ayoub Tradition Continues…
Like millions of American success stories, the Ayoub family
history reflects the optimism and fundamental values of hard
working immigrants. In 1936, Joseph Ayoub left the old country
to seek freedom and economic opportunity in America.
1940’s . . . Over the course of twelve years
Joseph expanded his knowledge in the rug business. This would
set the foundation for the future of the family business.
Working hard he was able to bring his wife and children to
be with him in America in 1948.
1950’s . . . During the fifties, four of Joseph’s
five sons served in the United States military. In 1952, Jack,
the eldest son, returns from the Korean War. After returning,
Jack joins his father and they begin the “Ayoub Tradition
in Fine Rug Care.” One by one, Jack’s brothers;
Norman, Sam, Said and Fred join the family business.
1960’s . . . After building a modern state-of-the-art
rug cleaning and sales facility in Arlington, VA the family
business flourished well above their expectations.
1970’s . . . In less then three decades the
Ayoub name achieved a high level of recognition in the DC
area for their commitment to fine rug care. Because of their
expertise, they were commonly referred to as “the
rug people”.
1980’s . . . During this period the family
business adds a another generation to its ranks. Jack’s
son, Daniel, starts working in the family business.
1990’s . . . After expanding from the family
business, Daniel starts ACS Carpet Care which earns top ratings
in Consumers’ Checkbook Magazine and recommendations
from Washingtonian Magazine. With this recognition ACS becomes
“the carpet people” of choice in the DC area.
Today . . . With the combined services of ACS Carpet
Care and Ayoub Rug Care under one roof, Daniel Ayoub continues
to provide his clients with the finest service available.
With three generations of knowledge, customer service and
strong values we are now recognized as:

Today . . . In continuing with the historical growth
of the companies, Dan purchased property in Chantilly, Virginia,
where he has built a 16,000 sq. ft. facility. This new plant
will be one of the most modern rug cleaning and repair facilities
in the United States and will provide a central location for
the wall to wall cleaning division. In addition, to accommodate
the wants and needs of today’s consumer, the showroom
will conveniently display hundreds of oriental and area rugs,
