We Clean ALL Types of Rugs!
The many Oriental and area rugs found in McLean differ greatly in their construction,
fibers and dye lots. At Ayoub Carpet Service, we understand these differences, that
is the reason we use the most advanced in-plant cleaning process available
to suit each individual rug. Combining our traditional hands-on cleaning and repair processes with the latest technology
provides the most comprehensive way of caring for your investment in fine furnishings.
Most Oriental rugs are hand or machine woven on bases of cotton, silk
or wool. The pile is usually comprised of wool,
dyed with vegetable or synthetic dyes. Trained experts, like Ayoub Carpet Service IICRC
(Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification) certified rug cleaning technicians recognize the complexities and subtle variations of rugs, which helps avoid unnecessary cleaning problems.
Mothproofing
A dirty rug can attract wool-eating insects. If your rug has been rolled up or stored away for an extended
period of time we recommend that your rug be cleaned and mothproofed.

McLean is an unicorporated Virginia community created from the aggregation of two older communities, Langley and Lewinsville. The site was relatively remote from Washington until John McLean, publisher of the Washington Post funded the electrification of a train line and built a station where the railroad crossed Chain Bridge Road. McLean has a reputation as one of the wealthiest suburbs of Washington and it contains a mix of very large homes and mansions, including the fabulous estate of the Saudi ambassador, but it also contains manu modest suburban style homes. McLean's central shopping district, centered around the intersection of Old Dominion Drive and Chain Bridge Road has an abundance of retail, offices and restaurants. McLean is located in close proximity to the Central Intelligence Agency and Federal Highway Administration headquarters complexes.
